Silent London, il seguitissimo blog della giornalista britannica Pamela Hutchinson, hanno eletto ancora una volta le Giornate del Cinema Muto 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 nell'annuale sondaggio rivolto agli studiosi e agli amanti del cinema muto.
E non finisce qui! Tra gli altri riconoscimenti, l’evento di chiusura della 44a edizione del festival, 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (1923) con Buster Keaton, ha vinto nella categoria 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗶 𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗼, mentre i cortometraggi del 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, tanto apprezzati dal nostro pubblico in sala, sono stati eletti 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗼. A questi si aggiunge anche il premio come 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼 assegnato a 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 – 𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, con il suggestivo accompagnamento musicale della compositrice libanese Cynthia Zaven e della sound designer Rana Eid.

The readers of Silent London, the popular blog by British journalist Pamela Hutchinson, have once again voted the Pordenone Silent Film Festival 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 in their annual survey of silent film scholars and enthusiasts.
And the good news doesn’t stop there! Among other honors, the closing event of the festival’s 44th edition, 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (1923) featuring Buster Keaton, won 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 while the short films of the 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, much loved by our in-theater audience, were voted 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆. Added to these is the award for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺, presented to 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 – 𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, featuring the evocative musical accompaniment by Lebanese composer Cynthia Zaven and sound designer Rana Eid.
